Hello from beautiful Cavan Monaghan township. My first attempt at blogging will feature pictures and posts about my natural surroundings. Now that spring has sprung and summer is just days away, I’m busy in the garden finishing the mulching and other little details. My four new daylilies are planted and I’ve added a couple of Japanese ferns to the back corner of the lot. Hopefully Sophie won’t trample them as she patrols the perimeter! Hope you’ll enjoy my pictures as I try to bring you a taste of rural life on the fringes of Peterborough.

  3. What a beautiful sky. My Mom used to call those wispy clouds “mare’s tails”.
